Meet Tammy:

Hello and welcome!

I’m Tammy and here is a little bit about me:

I have been an avid reader for as long as I can remember. It started with my mom reading to me as a small child, and grew into a life long passion. As I got older I found myself reading primarily romance with a dash of fantasy and paranormal thrown in. I stumbled into MM via an MMF book. I quickly realized I was more interested in the relationship between the two men and moved to MM only romance. That was in 2018 and I never looked back.

I enjoy discovering new authors and helping them hone their writing.  Plot holes, character development, effective word use, and pacing are my areas of expertise.  Providing feedback that helps you tell your story effectively is my happy place.

I have a bachelors degree in business administration, and over 20 years of experience as an administrative assistant. I love helping Indie authors pursue their dreams, whatever that looks like.

I live in the mountains of Colorado with my husband and our fur children. I love cooking, photography, traveling, and gummy candy.

Meet Shannon:

The mechanical editing part of your writing journey is brought to you by Shannon Mae. I am happy to travel with you through the world of correct comma placement, em dashes, and the well-placed sentence fragment.

I am an avid reader and a professional grammarian. I have taught English at the middle school, high school, and college level for over twenty years, and I love that in recent years I happened to find my way into editing for Indie authors.  It brings two of my favorite things together—reading and grammar (yes, grammar can actually be a favorite thing). I also love research, and I can’t help myself—I will fact check anything I’m editing as well.  (Someone, please clear my browser history when I die.) It is an honor to be able to work with authors in bringing their stories to publication, and I do everything I can to make the final product as perfect as possible.

Outside of my reading and editing life, I love adventures and DIY projects. I am most happy whitewater rafting, hiking, painting kitchen cabinets, or laying floor. My reading and editing life is well-balanced with real life experiences. I look forward to falling into new journeys with authors and fixing the occasional typo or comma splice along the way!

Meet Elly Ash

Ellie graduated from university with an English Literature Bachelors and Masters—as well as an appreciation for MM romance thanks to slash fanfiction. Various fandoms (Harry Potter, Inception, Star Trek, Doctor Who & Torchwood, Teen Wolf, to name just a few) inspired her through the 2000s and 2010s. She loves the inclusive, welcoming environment of these fandoms (and has dabbled in fandom herself).

Around 2021, she realised that the kind of MM romance she likes was now being traditionally published. There wasn’t yet a huge catalogue at her public library, but the Overdrive app let her read a variety. In 2022, after receiving some recs from her cousin, she embarked upon KindleUnlimited and never looked back because there was *so much* MM romance!

Ellie still makes regular use of her KU subscription, but she’s also signed up for a lot of author newsletters, as well as GayRomanceReview for ARC copies of novels. She’s been known to send off typos that she finds in ARCs—or occasionally published books—just in case they haven’t been found yet. 😉

In 2024, Ellie started betaing and editing for several authors with the goal of helping bring to readers the shiniest possible version of these wonderful romances.  In her spare time, she reads, writes, plays D&D, and pursues other geeky interests.

Meet Abigail Beckwith

I’m Abby, and I have a Bachelors and a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. I’m currently working at an independent bookstore, helping people find their next favorite novel. I also assist with the book fair branch of the company, fostering the love of reading for all ages.

In the past few years, I’ve gravitated more and more to m/m romances, finding that this genre, this community, is what makes really my soul the happiest. It’s what my dorky, lonely, fanfiction-loving heart needed for so many years (and my still dorky, less lonely heart thrives on today). I can’t imagine reading a book without the perfect mix of banter, angst, fluff, and steam—and all of those glorious, glorious tropes and cliches.

In 2024, I really started diving deep into world of ARCs as well as content creation, beta-reading, and editing. When you love commas, what else are you supposed to do with your life? 😉 I love being able to help someone’s dream come true and see all of their hard work come alive.

In my spare time, I love binging tv shows, hanging out with my family, and napping (napping totally counts as a hobby). But truly, my happy place is curled under some blankets with some hot cocoa and some candles and a good m/m book.
